Editorial Standards
The rules behind these 6 pages: our sources, our checks and our commercial disclosure.
Check FxProHow a fact gets onto the page
Nothing goes on the page until its source can be named. Conditions that differ by country are read for KE specifically, because a global page and a local account are rarely the same thing. Where a figure cannot be confirmed we omit it; we do not round, average or infer it.
How we are funded
We earn from partner links. The reader pays nothing more for using one. Commission never changes what a page says. We have no paid placements and no sponsored verdicts. Nothing here is financial advice, and we are not affiliated with CAPEX.
What we check against
We work from primary material - the register of Capital Markets Authority (CMA Kenya), governing online forex under the Capital Markets (Online Foreign Exchange Trading) Regulations, 2017. Three licence categories: (1) Dealing Online Foreign Exchange Broker (principal/market maker), (2) Non-Dealing Online Foreign Exchange Broker (STP/agency), (3) Online Foreign Exchange Money Manager. Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) oversees the broader FX market. Register: licensees.cma.or.ke, CAPEX's legal documents, and the conditions it publishes for clients in KE. The register itself is public - licensees.cma.or.ke - so any licence claim on this site can be re-checked by the reader in a minute. For tax and payment questions we use the authorities' own publications (https://www.cma.or.ke/).
Keeping pages current
Every page shows when it was last reviewed, and the underlying KE material was refreshed on 2026-07-07. When the underlying facts change, we change the page and the date with it - we do not quietly refresh a timestamp.
